Biyat nominated as Environmental Specialist for Afghan recycling project

Biyat have recently been nominated as Environmental Specialist for a plastic pelletizing plant design & construction project in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan. It is a USAID funded project in conjunction with People in Need (Czech NGO).

Key deliverables include;

• Planning phase climate vulnerability screening,

• Ensuring USAID construction policy is adhered to,

• Collaboration with Afghan authorities for necessary permit applications,

• Monitoring environmental compliance throughout the project,

• Facilitating the recycling facility design, plant specification and material flows.
